The CCTV Advisory Service does not sell or install CCTV but is able, free of charge, to supply independent advice to your school/college enabling CCTV procurement without the difficulties that are often encountered.

Obtaining a number of quotations from different CCTV installers is fraught with problems. The companies may produce widely differing specifications based upon totally different concepts. This often means educational establishments, which have no specialist knowledge, are unable to make a sound choice. These problems are compounded by the fact that CCTV companies will normally send along salesmen whose job is to do just that - sell. This frequently results in customers either purchasing more expensive equipment than is necessary, or receiving a system which, while being low on price, is unable to supply pictures that are to the required legislative standard.

The CCTV Advisory Service (an Independent Consultancy and full member of the Association of Security Consultants) can provide a consultant to visit your premises to design a professional CCTV specification that will meet current police requirements for court evidence (80% of new systems fail in this area). We will also arrange for three pre-qualified companies to tender for the installation, using only the specified equipment. This overcomes some of the major problems schools and colleges face.
