Medieval Days

Medieval days offer an affordable outreach alternative to a school trip – instead we come to YOUR school!
Our presentations can feature Celtic, Roman, Saxon, Viking, Norman, Medieval, Tudor & Stuart periods. We offer that ‘Wow’ factor to history topics that bring history alive and helps children think about the past in a new way.
We will arrive in period costume and bring a huge collection of stunning historical resources - both genuine and reproduction - to your school and offer a hands on historical experience at an affordable price. Object handling by the pupils is the most important part of the presentations. Activities can include wool spinning, writing with quill pens, brass rubbing, coin striking and much more…
“Have a go” archery can be incorporated as part of a session or as a stand alone activity.
The advantages of outreach are numerous – you need not worry about long coach journeys, lost pupils, food, toilets, gift shops, bad weather etc. We will provide an enjoyable time for your pupils in the secure environment of their own school.
We bring different resources relating to the period requested - always an amazing selection!

just looking at the items behind glass in a museum
